Driver app guide
See your published route, travel to each stop, record work, and capture completion evidence. Your administrator supplies the app build and your account details; this website does not provide a public app-store download.
Activate your account
- Ask your administrator for the email address and activation code for your driver account.
- Open the app’s account-activation screen. Enter the email and code, then choose your password.
- Sign in. If you have access to more than one business, select the intended business.
- If your deployment uses a different server, use the server address supplied by your administrator. The production API is
https://route-api.okok.space.
If you forget the password, use Forgot password or ask an administrator to request a reset. Use the new recovery code to set a new password. Administrator and driver sign-in identities are separate.
Grant permissions
Grant foreground and background location access in the app and device settings. Location permission is required for work actions, including when an order is already in progress. Restoring permission lets you resume that same order; it does not restart its recorded start time.
A temporary GPS outage, such as driving through a tunnel, is different from denying permission. With permission granted, temporary GPS loss does not prevent work. Location reporting runs on duty and stops when duty ends.
Enable route notifications if offered. Notifications announce published updates; opening/refreshing the app retrieves the authoritative plan. Device notification delivery depends on the platform service and connectivity.
Begin your day
Check the selected business and the last successful refresh time. In the route screen choose your assigned vehicle and begin duty by marking yourself Online. This requires a backend connection and location permission. Online here means on duty, not merely connected to the internet.
The next unfinished order in your published route becomes On road. Only one order per vehicle can be active at a time. Your administrator’s unpublished changes are not your active route.
Route, map, and navigation
The route screen shows the day’s assigned stops, appointment windows, durations, and statuses. The map shows your assigned work, not every order in the business. Select the intended date for the route you need.
Open navigation for the selected stop to launch the external navigation app available on your device. Turn-by-turn guidance is provided by that external app. Its download, network, and data requirements are separate from Route.
The app refreshes published data automatically. Check the last successful refresh timestamp and stale/offline notices if updates stop. A changed route may arrive after an administrator publishes; follow the latest published route when it is refreshed.
Work through a stop
| State | What it means | Your action |
|---|---|---|
| Created | Work exists but has not been activated. | Follow route progression; do not start arbitrary unpublished work. |
| On road | This is the next stop you are travelling to. | Navigate there, then mark Start when you actually begin work. |
| In progress | Work has started at the location. | Finish work and mark Complete, or report Unable to complete. |
| Completed | You recorded completion. | The next eligible stop becomes On road while you are on duty. |
| Unable to complete | Work cannot be fulfilled, for example because access was denied. | Supply a free-text reason. Active work ends and the route advances. |
| Cancelled | The administrator has cancelled the order. | Route progression skips it; drivers cannot cancel work themselves. |
Start saves the actual work-start timestamp. Complete saves completion time. Both require a backend connection and permission. If you are unable to complete, explain what prevented the work; this is an execution outcome, not a planning error.
Photos, signatures, and custom fields
Open an order to capture photos or a customer signature. Customers draw the signature directly in the app. Your business may require a photo, signature, or both before completion. Required evidence must be successfully uploaded first; a file only saved on the phone does not satisfy that requirement.
Custom fields show business-specific information. Edit only fields the administrator made editable. Hidden fields are not available in your view. Order field permissions belong to the order’s saved field-definition version.
Breaks and a driver change
Follow a break as a route stop: travel to its location, manually start the break, then finish it. A replacement driver selected by the administrator takes over when the handover break finishes. The replacement driver must mark themselves Online before their next work activates. The system does not automatically mark the outgoing driver Offline.
The driver-duty limit includes breaks. If a shift runs past the limit, the app can allow finishing current work while blocking a new work task; a configured handover break remains available. Follow your administrator’s shift/rest settings rather than toggling duty to reset a shift.
When the connection is lost
- View already-downloaded routes and map-area data. Information may be stale; the app shows the last successful refresh time.
- Capture photos and signatures for later upload. Pending files remain tied to the original order, driver, and business.
- Status changes, custom-field changes, and beginning/ending duty require connectivity. They are not silently queued.
- After reconnection, let the app refresh and upload evidence. Use Account → Pending evidence to review files and Retry upload when necessary.
- Do not assume an upload succeeded until its pending state clears. If an order was reassigned or permissions changed, an upload may require administrator attention.
End duty and sign out
Mark yourself Offline when you finish duty. You may leave unfinished orders assigned to you, but cannot end duty while work is In progress. Complete the work or report Unable to complete with a reason first.
An On road order returns to Created when you end duty, keeping its plan and assignment. Returning Online activates the next unfinished order in the published plan. Network loss by itself never ends duty.
End duty before signing out. Pending evidence stays on this device for the original account/business; sign back into that same account to resume uploads. Avoid uninstalling the app while files still need uploading.
Get help
Contact your business administrator for missing assignments, account deactivation, activation/reset codes, unexpected route changes, evidence problems, or required permissions. Include the order ID, selected business, status, and last refresh time. Do not share your password, session token, or a customer’s signature in a public support message.
